1. PRESCRIPTION TYPES
The following information applies to all prescription lenses for glasses — whether you need single vision lenses to correct nearsightedness, farsightedness, and/or astigmatism, or you need office or progressive lenses to additionally correct presbyopia (if you are over 40 and experience discomfort when reading from a close distance).

OFFICE LENSES (MULTIFOCAL)
This is a lens tailored for reading and office work. The lens is designed to optimize near vision, therefore the reading zone is larger than in other lenses. These lenses are manufactured by individual order, choosing the required distance (1.3m or 2m).
PROGRESSIVE LENSES (MULTIFOCAL)
These lenses are covered with Premium coatings. Wide range of dioptres and diameters. These lenses have all viewing zones (distance, intermediate zone, reading zone) balanced, and are produced to suit your individual needs. These lenses are for innovators and those looking for convenience, as they eliminate the need for separate glasses for different issues.
2. THICKNESS OF LENSES
The thickness of the lens is described with a lens index. The more dioptres, the higher should be the index, as it will make the lens thinner and lighter, which will result in more comfort and a better look.
1.5 Index Lens – Standard lens. Recommended for prescriptions of +/- 2.0 and lower. Fortis8 coating is included.
1.6 Index – Thin lens. An excellent choice for people with prescriptions around SPH +/-2.25 diopters and more. It' s more solid material than standard lenses. 100 % UV protection. Fortis8 coating is included.
1.67 Index – Ultra Thin For those of you who have a prescription with an SPH correction of approximately +/-4.25 diopters and more. 100 % UV protection. Fortis8 coating is included.
1.74 Index – As Thin as Possible These stylish, lightweight lenses are best for prescriptions with SPH corrections around +/-6.25 and above. Fortis8 coating is included.
3. THE LENS MATERIAL MAKES A DIFFERENCE
Your personal lens material selection will depend on your level of activity, comfort, vision needs and the recommendation of your eye care provider.
We spend nearly a third of each day exposed to the harmful blue light emitted by digital devices. The light increases the strain of our eyes, causing discomfort. BLUEPRO lenses are designed to protect your eyes from the blue light, thus reducing eyestrain.
We tend to think that UV light and other forms of high-energy light only come from sunny skies. However, even clouds cannot block the UV rays entirely, while they can also be reflected on different surfaces.
It is essential to protect your eyes when outdoors – whether you are out for a short walk or spending an entire afternoon at the park. Polarized, photochromic, and tinted lenses with UV-blocking treatment will shield your eyes from the sun and prevent damage caused by UV light.
Transitions Signature With the photochromic treatment, your lenses progressively darken or lighten upon spontaneous change of light intensity. The lenses are clear indoors and at night. The photochromic treatment offers:
– Practicality: only one pair for both indoors and outdoors
– Comfort: reduces visual strain and glare from the sun
– 100% UV protection, especially beneficial for photosensitive people.
PHOTOCHROMIC LENSES for drivers

"Transitions XTRActive” grow dimmer even as you sit in your car! These lenses are capable of providing your eyes with extra protection from sunlight both inside and outside of your car. Even though "Transitions XTRActive” remain fairly transparent inside, your eyes are protected from bright light and the harmful UV radiation emitted by digital devices, which may cause tiredness and tension.
Enjoy the sun without damaging your eyes. Our high-quality sunglass lenses provide optimum protection for your eyes with 100% UVA and UVB protection. Available for prescription (single vision or progressive) and non-prescription sunglasses.
The polarized treatment is applied to solar lenses to improve comfort and increase visual protection. The light diffused by the sun is propagated in all directions. When the light hits a flat and reflecting surface such as water, snow or sand, it causes unpleasant glare. The polarized filter blocks bothersome rays and lets through only the ones that carry useful light. The filter acts as a barrier that prevents the reflected rays from getting inside the eye for an optimum perception and increased comfort.
